Texico
So I have maybe about 75g worth of both Al Amir Apple and Layalina Mangosteen, and I kind of want to mix them together. Any thoughts on this? I've put their jars right next to each other and tried to smell the combined scents, and it seemed alright. Also, the Al Amir is a really fine cut while the Layalina...isn't. Would this affect the ability to mix them well?I'm only considering this because it would free up a jar right now for me to put some Tangiers in. Otherwise I would need to smoke all of either the apple or mangosteen before I can get a free jar. Oh, and yes, I'll be buying some lock-n-locks when I go on break in a week and a half. MechAnt
I actually have experience mixing Layalina and Al Amir albeit not those exact flavors. With these two brands, I don't recommend blending them together. Layer them instead. In the bowl, put the stronger flavor on the bottom and the not as strong flavor on top. The results are pretty good

gaia.plateau
Why not just mix one bowl and see how it is?
sss8789
in a funnel do you put one layer on top and one below it or do you mix it?
jfaltous
QUOTE (sss8789 @ Feb 28 2008, 07:39 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>in a funnel do you put one layer on top and one below it or do you mix it?While layering works well in a normal bowl, in a phunnel its not nearly as effective.. the top layer will burn a lot faster and more effectively than the bottom layer. definitely way better to mix them up before putting them in. Snoopy1966
You want a crazy mix. Try Bubba's suicide blend.
Texico
Alright, so I decided f*** it. I mixed 'em together and it smells pretty good.On a side note, I've opened my Tangiers Cool Strawberry and it's acclimating now. About how long should I acclimate this flavor? Should it be for the usual 5-6 hours or what?
