afrdzak
Hey Everyone, I'm in the process of opening a hookah lounge and making up a fictitious business name is a little more difficult then I would have thought. So I'm going to conduct a small sample survey here to see what you guys, as regular hookah smokers, think. Background: The property that I am pursuing is in a shopping center, a sort of off-beat, trendy area of the city. Close to downtown. This area is a hot spot for good restaurants and a few bars. The majority of the homosexual population resides in this part of the city. In comparison to most Hookah Lounges in the are, my lounge is going to be a mix between trendy/upscale, a little off-beat, and tradition. It's going to have a more homey, comfortable, and quite atmosphere. Our main product is going to be Hookah and tea. Small menu of snacks and specialty drinks. No alcoholic drinks planned in the near future. When reading these names to yourself think about these questions: 1) If you saw a hookah/tea/coffee lounge with one of the following names, which one would intrigue or attract you the most? 2) Which one of the names stuck in your head most and why? 3) Which name sounds most attractice? 3) Do you have an idea for a name? 4) Any other comments? Honesty is appreciate since I value your opinions. Thanks!
afrdzak
Oh, and don't worry about the meaning of the names yet... but if you really want to know, ask.
Soup
I wasn't particularly fond of any of those names. I am, though, a fan of Arabic names. It keeps the feel traditional. "Al Jhenna" is on the right path. $0.

afrdzak
Translations: Shiraz: if not the most, one of the most, famous city in Iran. It should to be the capital of Persepolis. It is now considered the birthplace of legendary Iranian poets. It houses some of the most beautiful gardens (the most well known, Eram Garden) in the world. Eram Garden: Eram means Paradise in Persian. Located in Shiraz, is one of the biggest tourist attractions. Mish Mish: apricot in Arabic. Al Jhana: At Heaven Jhana: Heaven And we all know what Sheesha means. I recently browsed through an entire list of Arabic and Iranian names and selected a few. I might create a new poll while keeping Shiraz Garden from this poll.
