Bulldog_916
Anybody else whisper a quiet "Gadamnit"? I really wanted to see Obama wrap this thing up and start debating McCain, but it looks like this is going to go on until June. I wish she would just bow out. Obama is the only candidate that can go head to head w/ huge cheeks against McCain.Thoughts?

ahwahoo2006
I still think Ronnie P will make a go of it as an Independent. He is polling at almost 10% nationally, which, with an influx of Democratic votes after either Clinton or Obama is eliminated, will give him enough of a push to qualify for Federal funding in the future. It would also be a major victory for 3d party candidates.
Canon
if ron paul is running hes got my vote.
AKammenzind
Great. More Hillary vs. Obama news to come... /sighRon Paul did publicly announce that he wouldn't be running as an independant I believe. Still hope he does though... regardless, a third party candidate might actually have a chance now.
lxjenkins
What did Hillary win? I hardly count her netting 1 or 2 delegates a win.

Bulldog_916
If Ron Paul runs as a third party candidate, the dems can kiss the presidency goodbye. Third parties are never spoilers for Republicans, they are the catalyst that helps them win. Paul is a loyal republican, I could see him hijacking the election. I'd vote for him if he was a viable opponent, but he's too sane to be elected, if the primaries were any indication.
MechAnt
As of right now, Nader will split the Dem vote a little bit. As of right now, we're seeing McCain with the upper hand.
Geiseric
I wish Nader had a chance. I know so many people who are supporting Obama, who say they would vote for Nader if they believed he had half a chance. I fall into that camp myself. But there is no way anyone as anti-corporation as Nader would get into power.

St. Goodypants
It's pretty horrible, but true for the time being. I wouldn't say never though, if Ron Paul plays out on independent it might give independents a nice launching platform for the next round.

DRainh2o
I want Obama to win Clinto is too polarized and stubborn to gain unified support. Her policies are too extreme for any republican to agree to but Obama could pull some over.

Clinton and Bush were only ahead because Perot himself dropped out then re-entered weeks before the election. He could have cinched it. He wasnt a spoiler, he was the front runner.
