aethiolas
So I bought a nammor a few months ago from MN and to be honest have only smoked it a few times(just don't smoke much). Well I was removing the hose from my port yesterday and without any amount of force managed to break the connecting tip off! It came off in a clean break that makes me wonder if this is a defect in the part that they should consider but I'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas? I doubt that superglue would be effective enough for this but how about epoxy? Any ideas would be appreciated!

Superglue should do it but you could always go to a store and ask for the strongest damned glue they got that is good for the king of glueing you are about to do. That's my two cents. aethiolas
I don't mind spending $25 b/c I LOVED this hose however this did kinda upset me, just a simple design flaw. However spoon has never lead me wrong before so I'm gonna pick up some permatex soon and see how that works. I know that Gorilla glue works great for most things but it does expand. boulderkid303
They are the exact same hose.QUOTE (Snacks @ Mar 5 2008, 04:46 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>QUOTE (aethiolas @ Mar 6 2008, 12:29 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>I don't mind spending $25 b/c I LOVED this hose however this did kinda upset me, just a simple design flaw. Abaco
I just bought 3 of these hoses with the hookah i ordered so i hope they don't break that easy. How exactly did you break it?
Perrj99
Well, it seems as though you have the answer to your question. But on the topic of Nammors; I've had mine for about 6 months and it's as solid as when I first received it. But the fact that it's just glued the way it is has always made me wonder how long it'll hold together.
Mahir
The Razan is not entirely the same hose.......But yes, the Gorilla Glue expands and also its an amber color....i think they have a clear version now...but anyways dont use that.Epoxies will work....but also...will be tacky. The Permatex stuff im not sure as i have never used it except for gasket sealer.I wonder if clear liquid nail would work?-Mahir

aethiolas
Well I picked up some plastic weld, not permatex b/c I couldn't find this but another brand around $3. It put it together last nite and let it sit overnite. I've not smoked out of it or anything but I've 'tried' to break the tip off again and it seems more secure now than it was. Granted, it doesn't look nice b/c for extra security I smeared the plastic weld around the sides also so it looks kinda nasty but this is the hookah end so I'm not real worried about looks. spoolinspoon
should hold up good. It heats up a bit when curing. I have used plastic weld on mutiple things and its butterrrrr
