manic007
I think you first have to determine where the leak is.I suggest you remove the shaft, block the top with your hand and suck through the bottom. Hopefully that'll be air tight. Then put the shaft back onto the base, remove the hose, block top of shaft and suck through the hose port. If you can feel air coming through, it could be the purge values - remove the ball and block it off.If you still have air coming through then its most likely the base seal. With my AF the actually opening for the base is not perfectly circular (I know, I got shafted by AF!), maybe you have the same problem? I was able to fix it by putting elec tape underneath the main grommet, but you may have to do something more drastic. You could try wrapping the main grommet with wet tisssue paper, that will hopefully take into account any ellipticity in the base opening.Or maybe it could just be the hose/hose-port?Good luck man!! People know I dont rate AF hookahs, but once you get it working (and hopefully develop myopia!!) its actually quite a nice shisha!N
