I'd go with the three kings. Ive found that three kings are the best quicklights, plus ive never heard of pharohs elite. If you do decide to try the new ones, id buy a small amount.

so its a choice between a box of 3k or pharaos elite from south smoke. i use 3k's all the time but i wanna try something else. jus wondering if anyone else used the pharaos coals

3K's are good. Goldens are good as well. The best I have used is Pegasus, they light fast, burn consistant, and last forever. They are a bitch to find though....I think Smoking-Hookah.com has them.
I had a box of QL's that I brought home from the sand. No idea who made them- all the writting was in Arabic. I saved them as a "back-up" box for when I ran low. Well, I used them up...they SUCKED! lol!

I am now in search of eternal knowledge in the ways of the naturals!

I'd say for now, stick with what you know. Wish I would have paid more attention when I went to Arax the other day, to see what other QLs they have. I know they have 3K and Rolland (stay away from those). They may have a few more... next time, I'll take a closer look.

go with 3kings.
if it aint broke then dont fix it!
it would suck to buy a box of new coals and you end up not liking them. then you gotta invest more money on a box of 3kings again.
maybe order a box of 3kings and one roll of the new coals to try them out. if you like them more than 3king then you know which one to order next time.

golden are amazing. they have two sizes so you can kind of decide how long you want to smoke for.

i've gotten my best instant lite hits off the large golden coals.

but personally, japanese coals are hands down the best. if you have a stove, go with them.
