Balthazar
Previously Nour Fingers have been like my only option. But after I really got into hookah I started ordering from abroad, and now I got 2 kilos of Exotica (from HC, luckily not from one of the bad batches) 2 kilos of Smiley's Coconut Coals and 5 kilos of Cocobrico Coconut Charcoal. Havn't had a chanse to try any of them out yet, but I'm guessing the Cocobrico will become my new favourite, based on what I've read of user reviews. MechAnt
My favorite is a locally made coal in the shape of a triangle. Good heat, no taste, quick lighting, and the price is right. Buy local!
SimplexCoda
There isnt any such thing as local where I am. The closest place to get supplies is over 3 hours away.

SimplexCoda
I have actually been considering how possible it would be to remedy that non-localization.

staygone
I've use stargates natural coals. Haven't tried exoticas.Had a super chief going for an hour fifteen with one set of three coconaras. They were tons better than the stargate naturals, which are very good for natural coals.I look at the higher cost as convinience for the nice, square cubes they come in. I got a super pack of three boxes for $35.95, or ~$12.00 a box-QM Edited March 9, 2008 by QuiltedMaple

Shifty
A few days ago, all you could find was drama with exoticas. I'm giving them a few months to get the kinks worked out before plunking down some money for a box.

oolatec
Haven't had any problems with my Exoticas. I still have 2.5 boxes to go through. Don't really smoke at home much these days, so I use 3K QLs mostly. I do enjoy the Exoticas way more though.
