My New Masterpiece

Recommended Posts

i came across this hookah at a local store and since it was only 25 euros i decided to pick it up.
the pipe is 41 inches tall and made of brass.

its by far the best pipe i`ve ever smoked, but i don`t like the little ornaments attached to the ashtray.

Wow, that is really sweet. I like the dangly chains on that! If you do not want them I will buy them form you. It adds a touch of class imo. I really like that Hookah. A different piece then most has.

Metal Polish I do not really know. I think Brasso would work good. There is this stuff you get in a can and it has cotton in it, you pull out a chunk and use it polish many kinds of metals, the stuff works great but the name eludes me right now.

yeah, i can take the dangly crap off. what do you recommend for polishing brass?

Brasso +2.

We polish all our brass cookware/show-ware at work with it.

not sure exactly....

i don't even know why i know this...

looked it up and its the vinegar and salt in there and people also said to just use about 1:1 salt vinegar mix.

either of these should work great...

i would say be gentle a bit cause i dont know if the salt would scratch it.

toothpaste also (works on scratched up CD's too cause it has some tiny abrasives in it)

sweet looking hookah dude...i'm sure it smokes like a champ.

for cleaning it, one more to the brasso. i use it every couple months on my hookah...cleans it up so nice, but be aware that the brass goes back to being dull very quickly...2 weeks or less. still looks nice as hell all cleaned up.

Yea I like the green base better it seems to fit the flow. I'd say Brasso too but if you cant get it just try looking up an alternative somewhere on the web, im sure its out there. Edited by Stinkyfisherman

well you can use any metal polisher.. you can even use the stuff they use to buff out scratches from cars.

maybe some turtle wax will do it good smile.gif

Glorious pipe, fantastic price. I'd have dropped $80-$100 for that without much hesitation. I'm with Snoopy, the dangly things are sweet.

thanks. the owner probably didn`t have a clue about what he had on his hands. 25 euros is about 39 us and canadian dollars at the current exchange rates, so i guess it was my lucky day.
