yeshua_cxc
So the Gov. of NY has admitted to being involved in a prostitution ring. http://www.dailynews.com/ci_8522041?source=rssWhy is it so hard to elect a politician that actually has integrity and character? yeshua_cxc
Yeah I know. That's why I honestly feel like voting for Mickey Mouse or something in the Presidential election. Especially living in CA I already know that no matter who I vote for the Democratic nominee will get the delegates. Mind as well make a statement with my useless vote. oolatec
If anyone knows Spitzer's "platform", you'd chuckle at the irony of all of this. Good riddance to more bad rubbish.
Bulldog_916
His platform is government ethics reform. Here, I have an idea, let's elect Hugh Heffner as our government ethics reform platform chairman. At least the guy has good taste and it aint a secret that he's gettin' some. Even if it's highly inflated by Viagra and Extenze.

There is almost no integrety left in either party, but what would you rather have? A democrat who gets his dick sucked or a republican stealing millions? I'd rather have the guy gettin off than someone stealing millions but thats just me.

I'd rather have the guy gettin off than someone stealing millions but thats just me.Or a democrat getting videotaped taking bribes, and keeping the cash in the freezer, A'la William "the freezer" Jefferson.Or the 96 million in illegal contributions the DNC members took in 1996. That dick sucking took a bad turn for one intern when Gary Condit decided to lie about her whereabouts... later found croaked in the park. (some think there was allot more involvement there)Charles Diggs, Dem Mich, went to jail for 11 counts of mailfraud, and falsifying payroll forms to avoid taxes (fake employees) Guess he wanted his own tax cut, but none for anyone else!Don siegelman and his bud Bobo, who stole .5 million from the state ed fund so bob could payoff a competitor for a maternity care contract with the state.Fredrich Raymond, paid off an FBI agent that caught him soliciting from a minor (some reports say 10 YO, others 14) plead guilty to tax evasion, controled substance, endangering a minor, bribery... Ya, he was just trying to get a BJ. what's wrong with that?Biaggi D-NY... more bribery. David Giles, Democrat candidate for U.S. Representative from Washington in 1986 and 1990. Convicted in June 2000 of child rape. Just trying to get a BJ too! Nothing wrong with that, is there.Mayor of Atlanta (can't remember his name, early '90's) bribery, embezzlement.James Trafficant got tossed out of Congress for accepting bribes, and kickbacks.Just to name the ones that come to mind right now....Compile a list of dem scandals, you will find everything from rape of a minor to hiring a hitman, and anything in between. They are just as bad (maybe a bit worse) than and republican side, don't fool yourself.
mushrat
Wasn't he the atty general or something before? I remember reading about all the corrupt companies he went after on wall street, insurance companies ripping people off, that sorta thing. As long as he wasn't using public money for his little get togethers I'd say he's as human as the next guy. I wish we could keep private lives seperate from politics. What has he done that was Politicallycurrupt should be the question.
MagicHookahs
His entire platform for becoming gov was "eradicate corruption from government".... figures. On a more random note- has anyone heard Hillary and Obama's positions of NAFTA, trying to appeal to the hardcore liberals by saying they will remove it....I bet they don't, I am sure their staff is calling Canada and other countries saying "Don't worry, we are just manipulating the truth to try and gain power." Ron Paul. And its a prostitute, its private matter. Let me try to put this in perspective; He was going to lay waste to the Wall St elite over various scandals, calls them out on it and then a few days latter this comes out? No, no, no, not Politically motivated at all. Lets face it all that seperates what he did from getting a lap dance is a few dollar bills and some fabric. Majid
Truth of the matter is, you need to either be a grimey son of a bitch, or hire some grimey sons of bitches to make it to the top and stay there..Politics, gaining power, keeping and expanding power..The nature of the game is corrupting. Obama and Ron Paul will prove to be no exception if voted into power. It's just a matter of how far do you take it, and how well can you hide your dirt. NAFTA is just a precursor to the NAU... everyone ready to change their dollars for "Ameros". Well, at least they don't have any pictures of loons, or beavers on them.. and they are planned to be backed by a real metal, that alone is a novel idea in the USA these days.
