jonm1357
i'm about to buy my first hookah off of hookah-shisha tomorrow morning when i get some money so i'm wondering if i'm getting a good one. after reading reviews from everywhere i could possibly find i settled on a mya qt with two hoses. i live in a apt. with very limited storage space so i went with a mini. so i'm wondering am I making a good choice and what kind of shisha should i get considering i have never smoked shisha b4. and thanks to everyone for all of the great posts you guys have helped all ready i guess i just need that little extra push. Canon
start with one hose, and make sure you buy a brush with your order. also, buy different 50 gram packs and figure out what you like as far as the shisha goes. and get 3 kings quick light for your coals, make sure they are lit all the way (no longer sparkling) when you smoke them
mjdx88
Check out their clearance section, Al Waha is a 1.50 for 50 grams which isnt bad just order 2 or 3 boxes they say the only issue with it is that the box is damaged or the bag is a little leaky but at a 1.50 you cant go wrong. Try as many flavors as you can, if you like peach and grape try those you cant go wrong with them. Dont forget from HS you get 2 50 g boxes with you order. I also found a good full flavored smoke is blueberry and raspberry.Thats just my 2 cents im pretty new to hookah as well live it up, and welcome to the forum Also if you have any concerns talk to live help at HS they are a great help!Mike Edited March 13, 2008 by mjdx88
waterboi
Qt is a great small hookah. I personally like the Bambino more but it isnt expandable to two hoses
bassman65
Read reviews in the *tobacco section too so you can avoid the bad flavors. Edited March 13, 2008 by bassman65
Switch
yeah, the ut is a great pipe. Id recomend pretty much all the al fakher stuff. but my Favorites are Al Fakher Golden Esk Apple, Al Waha Mint, pretty much every brand makes a good orange, which is a good falvor, Al Fakher Strawberry (golden and regular are pretty much the same)
cypherkk
stay away from anything Sultan, premium, regular and even their hookah I hear are cheap they are by far the worst brand of shisha I have ever tried.
DRainh2o
AF watermelon and mint are great. I also like a lot of starbuzz flavors but it is a lil more pricey.

jonm1357
i just ordered a mya qt two hose and some of the clearance shisha thanks for the heads up. I also got some natural coals and i know from lots of youtube video's that you can heat them up on a regular coil stove but i have a smooth top stove with no exposed coils i think the top is made of either high quality ceramic or a type of glass. is it possible that the heating the coals on this would damage the stove or can i heat the coals in a aluminum pie plate or something to that effect. Snoopy1966
I went to a forum members place for a smoke and trade and he had a flat top stove and he said he always lights his coals on it. I did not see any damage to the burner surface. Some here have said they light theirs in a pan too but I would suggest something heavier then aluminum perhaps?? I do not know, I never tried that. Or you could go to Walgreens and get a coil burner for 10 bucks.
