nickdeveau1
So today my new hookah came in.. Went out and got some el cheapo quick lights and despite that the two flavors i tried were amazing smoking out of it. I froze the base and used the wind cover and screen that came with it and i have to say. If anyone hasnt tried the Al Amir Black Bery then its great and you should. It's blood red and kinda gross to look at the once you get past that its very good smoking. I also tried the HH orange but i wasnt as impressed. I liked it and i have no complaints im just not an orange man myself. THe smoke was very fluffy and nice though. My only gripe is that the bowl that came with it was basically a piece of crap and began actually falling apart on me.. anyone suggest a good bowl (head?) metal or clay?btw my new hookah is the Sultan Classic 32" egyptian from Hookahhub. Good stuff.
yashman19
I can vouch for hitman's first bowl shown there. Now I don't have one of those with a nifty coal keeper on the top, but my stargate came with an identical bowl in black, and I bought a larger green one. These bowls are amazing, and hold plenty of ma'assel. Definately pick 1-2 up if you can. Also, these bowls should hold up a little bit better than your average clay bowl. Don't get me wrong, the porcelin ones will still break if droped from high enough, but will hold up to most dings that clay bowls break from. yashman19
Also I forgot to mention, you said in your post that you froze the base? Please be careful and make sure you arn't putting the base in the freezer. I have done this before with my large glass base and ended up getting a FAT crack down the side of it... It might be ok to do with an acrylic or fiberglass base, but not glass. Also, putting ice and water is fine too.
nickdeveau1
well i only froze it for a short time and then put it in the fridge directly after so that the temperature change would be more gradual. I found its easier just to use ice cubes anyway
