mushrat
QUOTE (Hookah Master @ Mar 14 2008, 10:23 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>what made u decide to use mya qts instead of like a syrian or something?Several things. First, they don't tip over very easily. When you have 4 or 5 on a single table with hoses all over the place then something with a low center of gravity is good. Second, they are dourable as hell. Unless the glass breaks these hookahs are going to be working for years to come. Other bars I've seen and been to with traditional pipes nd up envenually glueing or tapeing them together becuase they start to come apart. Also no welds to break. third, they are what I sell, so it helps when soemone can smoke a pipe and then buy one just like it, and lastly, I'm NOT a traditional hookah bar. I play all sorts of rock, classicial, electronica, and a little middle eastern music. I serve beer, essentially I went with a a more modern "American Hookah Bar" look (also described as a "your livingroom" setting) so everyone would feel welcome. mushrat
Only my lucky hookah. The Hookah Brothers hookah I found in the basement when I rented the place...And that's the employees only pipe.Other than the keg can I had on the counter for personal use for a while, it's only been QT's. EternalSoil
i like the idea of QT's only cause of their low center of gravity.your place it pretty narrow i just noticed and with that many people in there larger hookahs would be all over the floor. indy
Very nice place from the looks of it. Hookah Bars can be a real crapshoot sometimes with owners who don't care about clenliness and comfort. Mya QT's were a good choice. My best experiences at hookah bars have been from smoking out of QT's, cause I noticed the same thing you said about the larger hookahs, they get beat to hell.
