SupremeOstrich
I just found a local shop that sells some Jap-style coals, covered in silver stuff that comes of a little bit on my fingers. Are these the normal japanese coals? They're split into 4 on each stick.Additionally, I bought 3 50g samples of a brand called "Taru" Anyone ever heard of it/have an opinion?Going to smoke it in an hour or two, and I have one of those single electric coil-stove things from Walgreens to light with. Is this going to work well?

Codename067
I never got why they have Arabic Writing on Japanese coal.Perhaps because the majority of smokers are Arabs/Middle Easterns, or perhaps it is also being imported to the Middle East?
