Zildjian
So anyone have a burner that they have had for an extended period of time and hasnt died on em? I had one i bought and it worked great for about 4 months then it shorted and exploded quite literally. i just bought one from target except its more like a hot plate and doesnt get hot enough so thats a waste of $20. any suggestions? Maybe ill try wal mart again...
Hookah_Bob3
I've been using an electric coil burner for over a year now and it still works as good as the day I bought it. Just gotta be sure not to light the coals on the same spot on the coils every time

mdl
I got an electric coil burner from Sears for ~$20 over a year ago and it's still working just fine. Been soaked in rain and everything.

Snoopy1966
I got a burner from Walgreens and it works good yet. It is losing some of the original power but I think it will last for a while yet. 10 bucks is not to bad to spend every 6 months if you can get it to last that long. I have flat plate also and that thing will last a long time. I have a hard time lighting coconaras on the flat plate though.
MNH
I got an electric coil burner from our local grocery store for like ten bucks, it's been a few months and no problems.. I used to just use my stove top, so you can imagine how nice it is to not have to clean that anymore.....
