for the sake of arguement -

"traditional" - i mean just normal coffee, no additives

"fancy" - caramel machiatos, triple venti mochas, java chip frappuchinos, etc.

oh and i seriously doubt there are any 7 year olds on this forum... but i want it to keep at increments of 10

sorry! fixed it. make sure you vote in all 3 fields, but 2 of the fields will be filled out as "not part of this age group" Edited by SafeSearchOff

never understood how people drink those fancy shmancy coffee's every day.

Two reasons: it's a milkshake that's steaming hot, and second that the teeny-boppers can feel "cool" because they think it's fancy shit.

Truth is, Charbuck's burns their beans... that's what gives is that distinctive Charbuck's flavor that people often mistake for "high class".

Take any Marketing 101 course, they teach you about several studies done where people psychologically find higher priced items better. You could be drinking pig shit and some simpleton would say, "I just paid $8 for this Venti Mocha Piga Shita, it MUST be good, even if I don't like the taste of it!"

If you want real good coffee, try Peet's... though for the price, I still find 7/11's 79 cent 24oz coffee damn good.

7-11's small (12 oz) costs $1.19, which is 36 cents cheaper than Starbucks. I like their cream packet sized Blak caffeine shots, though. I usually buy 7-11 coffee, and the only things I'd be concerned about is how long they let it sit out before brewing new batches, and the open containers that could easily be tampered with by the public. For my espresso machine I've been using Illy's, but the stuff costs almost twice as much as Starbucks. Edited by Ralleac

personally, i live in new jersey.

i have 8 diners within a 10 minute radius serving up great coffee, 2 starbucks (bleh), 2 dunkin donuts, and a quick chek. all size coffees are 1.09 + tax, guarenteed fresh brew every 20 minutes.

God I love New Jersey....

1. starbucks coffee tastes like asshole.
2. they sell tea and other items so those should have been included for those of us who dont drink the coffee but choose the green tea frozen drink thing. (and yes I ask for it as can I have a large green frozen tea drink. and the starbucks on the corner knows what I am talking about)

Edited for the NJ awesomeness:

And Yes I agree with safesearchoff, considering that my house in nj has roughly 30 odd diners, like 100+ delis, a few dozen bakeries, and ass tons of dd, i truly feel bad for people who can't get fresh coffee. Edited by thecoalition

oh man i forgot delis! haha. yeah i think its pretty much impossible to NOT find a fresh cup. i mean even my movie theatre brews pots of coffee. pizza places make coffee!

im just putting this out there, New Jersey is the best state in the union.
For the record, NYC stole the statue of liberty and ellis island from us, and for those of you from PA who vacation down the shore... fuck you, our driving is fine, you just suck at it.

also, the new jersey +15 rule has to be the greatest driving rule ever created.

/New Jersey Patriotism

oh also, its not fucking New Joizey. Those are italians from Brooklyn. Brookly /= NJ.

edit my post if theirs too much cursing, but thats how shit goes down in jersey.

I think that the worst driving is in NC.

I was coming back from a music festival and tried to pass someone and he went into the other lane. OK I said, let's go into the lane they were just in. NOPE the guy jumps back into his lane. I tried again, but NO FUCKING WAY the asshole does it again! I tried to speed by him, but the stupid fucker almost clipped my bumper cutting me off. I had to slam on my brakes to keep from killing the stupid fuck.

After another 5 minutes of this bullshit I finally got by him going 90. I got a comfortable distance past him then let myself drop down to 75 again. AS SOON AS I GOT BACK DOWN TO 75, THE BASTARD COMES SPEEDING UP BEHIND ME AND FUCKING TAILGATES ME LIKE NONE OTHER! THE FUCKING BASTARD MUST HAVE BEEN THREE INCHES FROM MY BUMPER! HE WOULD HAVE HIT ME IF I HADN'T SPED UP TO 80 WHEN HE GOT CLOSE!

So the dumbfuck starts tailing me hardcore going 85 down the highway. Then he starts creeping up and trying to get past me to pull the same bullshit he was doing earlier. So I took off going 95 and left the fucker behind.

This was at around 3:00 in the morning with NO ONE else on the road. Fuck North Carolina drivers.

edit: wow I'm drunk right now and that goes completely off topic. Edited by St. Goodypants
