Johnny_D
As said in chat - Allways let it touch it's no big deal. Often I've discovered people get so hung up on worrying about tobacco touching foil that they are chronically under packing the bowl and this in it's self is causing problems.Tobacco will tolerate a lot of heat. Even if the top layer of tobacco does burn [Not that i've ever noticed it] then it created it's own coal barrier anyway.Remember - The original Zaghoul tobacco was designed to have a coal thrown RIGHT into the tobacco - no foil or screen.JD

leadpipecinch21
nice, bush,my tobacco is usually just touching the foil...when the foil is taught it doesn't touch, but the bit it sags during the session puts the coal right barely touching. works well for me. ForgetulRobot
My vote is going to No. I've found that when I let shisha touch the tinfoil/charcoal screen it burns and gives it a rough taste on the inhale. It's not a huge deal it's all about the exhale anyways Desperate Times Tip: I was on a trip to a nice log cabin in Vermont with a few friends and of course one of my hookahs. When I got there I realised i forgot my screen and had no tinfoil in the rented cabin. What I did have was a bunch of adult soda cans. So I cut the bottom off of a can, took a nail and a hammer out of my car and punched a hole design in it. I put it under a flame for a minute to burn off and impurities and threw it on my porcelain bowl. It worked perfectly and I still have it to this day, half a year later. I know that shpeel was random. I guess the main bullet point of this presentation would be that I'm random and forgetful. Oh yeah and that I vote No on Hookah on Tinfoil violence. Adult Soda's would go down as beer. A few other great terms for beer: "How-do-ya-do's" "Road Soda's" "Grampy's Cough Medicine" If anyone can tell me what movie the term "Kickin' Back Grampy's Cough Medicine" is from they will get an int0rw3b ^5 (internet high five)
