Virgil
I got my new hookah and everything is good except for a leak at one of the hose ports. It seems that the heart and the rest of the stem is made out of 2 different pieces of metal... Maybe some of you are familiar with such construction. This hookah is obviously handmade, although it looks very nice. However where the 2 pieces of metal meet at one of the hose ports they did not weld them together, so when ever I cover the bowl to test for suction I have a pretty big leak there. So I used some hotglue to patch it up. You can't even hardly tell its there when the hose is attached. No matter how hard I try there is still a very small leak. I think it's almost negligible, I can still feel a lot of suction on my hand and I only see a bubble every now and then. What do you guys think, is it worth worrying about or should I try to get another stem.I'd post pics if I was'nt lazy and my camera battery was'nt dead... maybe later. Virgil
QUOTE (Scoop @ Mar 17 2008, 12:50 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>solder itTried solder already Solder is very inflexible (in the way that it is cohesive to other metals) and just does'nt get the job done since it's circular.I may just have to tack it with an arc welder if I can borrow one
