Coconut In Base

I've been reading up about using coconut milk in the base on my hookah. I've noticed that you guys mention mixing the milk with wine. Any other suggestions.

Tonight I bought 5 coconuts in an attempt to try this out and save some money.
Unfortunately I learned that coconut milk is not the liquid inside the coconut but juice squeezed from the milk it's self. Any ways I am gonna try using the liquid tonight and I will tell you how it goes.

I think you'll be okay just using the liquid inside... I've even used coconut cream, which I think is basically coconut milk whipped with the flesh, with some sugar added.

For your situation I'd recommend using the liquid inside at 1:3 against wine, grape dependent on your flavour of shisha.

I tried it with canned coconut milk, and it made a bit of a difference. I wanted to make a coconut shisha bowl just for kicks but I was too lazy and wound up just eating the coconut. laugh.gif Edited by Ralleac

Yea, the way I was planning it, it would've turned out kind of shallow. The coconut I was using had a fairly pointy tip, so it may have worked out alright. I was mostly trying to do everything feasible to make the coconut shisha taste more like coconut, including coconut milk and coconut extract. tongue.gif
