God i wish the general public would stop instantly matching a hookah with NHT everytime they see one.. something needs to be done. i have nothing against NHT smokers mind you, i just wish they would stop pulling down hookah and have the decency to mind their own business...who's with me? Dom Posted March 24, 2008 Share Posted March 24, 2008 i'm in the US Navy and it really sux for hookah smokers. the navy see's the hookah as associated with drugs and you are not allowed to have them onboard the ship. like, say, our ship goes over to the gulf and we hit a port over there; a lot of people buy hookahs as souveniers and you have to be really sneaky to get one onboard. otherwise, you have to have it mailed home. this is garbage since it's the same as someone having pipe tobacco in the smoke pit. i tried to talk to the higher-ups, but they just weren't having it even though i explained everything to them. i even included a picture of a soldier in iraq smokin' a hookah with his buddy in uniform. the army and airforce are not so up-tight about it, though.the navy is so close minded. i hate it. i can't wait to get out.
