BadgerBadger
The session was great until I lit up my second coal. After the smoke got very thin from the first coal, I lit up a new one and put it on at the edge of the foil and then removed the first coal. My first thought was that the bowl got too hot from the new coal and the old one being on the foil at the same time. So I removed the new coal and purged all the smoke out of the base. I put the new coal on the edge and it was still really harsh. Then I took the new one off and waited 10 mins to maybe let the bowl cool off. When I put the new coal on again, the smoke was still harsh. Any help would be appreciated. I've had this problem before.
austinthecity
While one coal is necessary to heat up the bowl, a new coal is not necessary to maintain that heat. Next time try adding half of a coal.
racemyghost
For the second round of coals, you will not need as much. Just like austin said, use half of what you would to start the bowl.
Bushbr
i used to have this problem, im assumin your using quicklightsplace your new coal on the already burning coal, this will light your new coal twice as fast but once your new coal is sparking, set it off to the side on the tray, and let it completely light, if you let it spark on yur foil, sme of the sparks or dust can fall into ur shisha, simply letting the coal completely light befor pacing it on the foil can solve this problem, hope this helps
