Baby Space Jesus
One question for you all: What if Heaven ceased to be a kingdom (dictatorship) and started functioning as a democracy? Just something goofy I thought of, but it is kind of interesting to think about.

Brain Damage
Well that depends upon who is doing the voting. Is it a collection of wise dead, of angels, or just humanity as a whole. I don't very well like the idea of an omniscient, omnipotent, ruler holding my fate in his or her hands, let alone a group of people. People aren't that bright. Look at who people elected to be our president.

thecoalition
are we talking about a place called heaven? because if we are talking about the biblical then im pretty sure it would have do exist as I do not believe in such fairy tales.
Voski
Which heaven are you talking about? In some beliefs you can already do what you want in heaven. Hence Satan taking 1/3rd of the angels and God just saying do what you want but you will face the consequences.

Maybe if Satan proposed a referendum to god But I'm with thecoalition, heaven would actually have to exist first.
*HOT&SMOKING*
I think I would rather go to hell.....imagin if it was like that for the jews in world war two who died and thought they where free of hitler and then he killed himself and is rulling them up there again!! or anything like that that would be WACK -H&S
gaia.plateau
Hypothetically speaking, of course, as heaven is equally as likely to exist as Leprechauns and Optimus Prime...Democracy is the best of many bad systems, in practice, not in theory. Democracy is still a bad, flawed system of governance. Dictatorships don't work because humans are fallible and corruptible. According to the Torah, Bible, and Qu'ran, God is perfect, inerrant and infallible, so a dictatorship would be the best system there.
