whats the point of a multiple hose rotating hookah? Yeah, i bought one, but when the vase broke, because i hit it with a hammer i fit a nice neato vase in the bottom and did away with the rotator device, ill have to post pics soon. i love it!

why'd you do that?

the vase it came with was blue glass with diamonds etched in that looked like it took a 5 year old 5 minutes to grind out, and then had a 4 year old spend 6 minutes painting this impossible to remove gold paint over the "etching", looked crappy so i figured id bust it out and buy a new one, but i found something better to put on the bottom, now ita a one of a kind and for some reason reminds me of someone wearing a hat... dont know why, somehow classy... sophisticated, neat.

shoulda used some paint stripper or laquor thinner

tried that, tried alcohol, tried sandpaper, nail polish remover, gasoline, it was like the gold finish you find on some peoples dinner plates. i think it was gold leaf. either way, it was ugly, now its not and im happy with it. btw, i was a painter by trade for several years, i have all kinds of ways of getting paint off. but honestly, i dont like rotator hookahs. theres probably nothing wrong with them and im happy for everyone out there that likes thiers.. but im much happier with it the way it is now, pics to come early next week.

anyway, off topic, whats the point of a multi hose rotator?

ya know, i never thought about that... lol

maybe it's so that you can convert it to a one hose + purge if only a few are smoking..

mine was a 2 hose rotator with purge valve! and roughly 4 foot cobra hoses. (maybe 5)? anyway... i had a little get together, busted it out, loaded it with one of the melon flavors and realized, there is no point! not to me anyways

I actually totally agree now that it is brought to my attention....I mean 1 hose rotators were their, that when you pass the hose it spins easily and you don't have the risk of the hookah bailing. But then with multiple hose rotators it is actually really senseless.

exactly, multi-hose rotators take away the whole point of a rotating hookah.

however, a single hose rotator is quite convenient if your smoking in a circle with a few people.
