Hookah Torches For Natural Coal

Recommended Posts

This is not the place for this kind of post, for better feed back, I'd suggest posting in general. This section is dedicated to reviewing products, not suggesting them. I would suggest moving this topic before the mods do if you can.

As for your problem, I use a Bernzomatic Quickfire propane torch for lighting my natural finger coals. Bout the same price as yours, yet it hasn't failed me and I'm on the same can of propane. For natural lump coals, I use a hot plate outside.

Well since this isn't a review wrongforu.gif

But since I dont like being banned ill go ahead and post a review on a propane torch.

Its basically a propane tank with a starter, handle, and other things required to make it into a torch. You can buy the head and tank for 13-15 bucks at a hardware store and you can get new tanks for around 3 bucks. They light coals WAY faster then a stove does. I personally do not own one but my friend has used one for over a year and thats all they use at his house to light coals.

Buy that and you should be fine. Just take care of it so the handle thing doesn't break.

I've vouch for this torch. I have one in my garage for all my automotive work I do, helps loosen stubborn suspension-component bolts lightening fast.

Also started using it to light coals, gets them going in mere seconds versus minutes. I sometimes bring it with me when I go somewhere that might not have a gas or electric stove (for instance, those ceramic top stoves).

GreenTea - Read the rules on where to post stuff. I've moved this post!

I use this :-

[See Attachment]

and an old frying pan [Clean it out first people] and just heat the coals turning them once to each side so they are glowing red with no black/dark spots. Takes about 1 mins for 3 1/4's of an exotica stick.
