Mixing Nakhla And Af

Recommended Posts

Im wondering whether mixing AF and Nakhla Double Apple flavours together (im thinking a 50:50 ratio) in a tub and letting them marinate for a couple of days/week would work?

The idea is i think Nakhla has the best DA flavour (sweet, strong anise) but because its so dry compared to AF it lasts less long and can be harder to manage heat-wise than AF. The reason is i want to set up my pipe at a party but wont be able to supervise it at all times (so want AF level ease of setup and management so people wont mess it up) with Nakhla flavour.

Therefore: will mixing AF and Nakhla help to produce a more Nakhla flavoured shisha but due to its wetness one that lasts longer and is easier to heat-manage (like AF)?

nakhla isn't good to be mixed with, its different from other shisha in the sense that it needs much more heat to get going good, and other shishas would be burning if you put that much heat on them

I do that mix all the time, it is wonderful, i like both Nahkla's and AF's double apple, i do it as a money saver ( i can get Nahkla 250g's for $6) and to have the Nahkla last longer. I mix them right before i put them in the bowl and have had good results. I say go for it, and try different ratios!

Thanks - will try it - i think ill try at 50:50 to start with but maybe make one bowl immediately before smoking and 'marinate' another one for a few days in tupperware, then maybe mix ratios!
