rezaomar
Ok, so I'm getting very frustrated. No matter what I do, whatever combination of coal, holes, etc, I cant seem to get full flavor and there is a weird aftertaste. I didnt have this taste the first 10 or so times Ive smoked but now it seems i cant get rid of it. I dont know if im just not packing correctly or what. I sprinkle the shisha in like people say to and it just isnt at the flavor that i know it can be. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?I am using two quarters of an exotica finger, rotating them every 10 minutes or so. It is a mya qt with standard hose. Could it be that the hose has just gained too much flavor? Its not a washable hose so i dont know what to do. Please help, im losing faith!Edit: Also i have no problem with smoke density that is fine.I was smoking rosetta and now im smoking nakhla banana and nakhla double apple Edited March 27, 2008 by rezaomar

Have you cleaned your hookah recently with soap or bleach? tends to make the bleachy taste stick to your hookah. if this is the case, soak everything you can in vinegar and lemon juice and water, mind you, not your hoses if they arent washable

Cybersist
How old is your hose? my unwashable hoses tend to have the biggest impact on the taste of my session. on a side note, if it is your hose i find this incredibly ironic because your name appears to be a fusion of the two "super hoses" available. Nikon1323
i had a mya QT and i would get great flavor out of it....make sure your shisha isnt touching the foil....thats what i would always do and take a thick tooth pick and put a hole stright down through the shisha and through about 2 of the holes in the bowl so you get a great flavor and great smoke....try that see how it works
