piperjason
Well my Mya QT arrived last weekend and I am very happy with the way it performs. With the longer hose and better stability I can lounge at smoke (i had a $20 pumpkin before).I was a bit bummed when I turned it over and it was stamped "Made in China" on the bottom. That just sucks... piperjason
yeah it seems to be great quality. it is just the principle of it. the glass has a sticker but it is etched on the underside of the metal ring the ash tray rests on.I just hope they have good quality control and it really is brass and chrome.I wonder why it isn't chromed throughout... and why does the metal shaft not go all the way too the bowl. I was cleaning it out with a paper towel after smoking it and there was some green on the paper. I hope it was just juice, but I guess it's oxidation. The Devils Playground
Myas are made in China, BMWs are now made in the USA as well as Toyota. Does this change their quality? Thats right NO dude how many people are going to turn over your hookah and say OMG you supported China? Honestly if the Chinese start making BMW I will buy one. Hell it would be half the price and probably run just as good.Lets face it Trek yea the brand the Uniballer rode (Lance Armstrong) has most of their line made in China. The chinese quality can be top notch. At the rate we are going its going to be made in the USA soon. Cheap labor is going to be directed to the USA from what i saw on CNBC the other day. Other countries are looking at us as the next China for labor. But I bet you there wont be many people saying OMG my hookah says made in the USA. Dude their quality when watched for control is as good as any other country. Lets face it its not the guys making the hookahs thats causing junk. Its the designers designing junk that makes te many junk chinese Hookahs what many of them are,,, Throw away hookahs.Just my 2 cents that everyone can deposit in their Brain banks for future withdrawls. Its the designers designing junk that makes te many junk chinese Hookahs what many of them are,,, Throw away hookahs. It really depends on what you're buying. Some companies are going to have good quality control, and others aren't. As an example, if you wanted a moped or motorscooter you would never buy them from China. The unknown chinese brands sold at a cheap price in the U.S. are known to consistently die after less than 5,000 miles.
