ioannisds
I am right there with ya mushrat. They look really cool, and would be a nice decorative piece for the home as well. My concerns are: 1)How do they smoke? 2)How easy/difficult are they to set up for smoking? 3)How the flip do you clean it?
yashman19
3)How the flip do you clean it?
Yeah, can you imagine getting a blockage somehwere? I'll admit its a pretty damn unique, cool design but it just doesn't seem practical. Whats the price on one of these?
mushrat
Their site has em for $250 but out of stock. I saw one here locally for about that, went back a week later and it was GONE!
Lakemonster
How to clean part might really come into play.... The reason is that there is a line that runs up the inside of one of the legs. Cant think of any convenient way to get at it.

ioannisds
I just e-mailed Social Smoke and gave them a heads up that we have some questions about the beast. Hopefully they'll look up this post and give us some info, or if they e-mail me back, I'll let ya know what they said.

ioannisds
Here is Ali's response from Social Smoke regarding the hookah tables. It's kinda nice to see a company that is not afraid to tell you the truth regarding one of their products: John,Good to hear from you, how are you doing? My impressions on The Experience is that it provided a good smooth smoke comparable to any other hookah, except that it required slightly more effort on each draw. It was similar to having a good bowl of shisha that simply needed a few more holes in the foil to make it perfect. Very acceptable overall...Cleaning on the other hand is a little more difficult. The table does come apart, but not in a modular way. It requires a screw driver and some pliers to disassemble. In addition, the tube that run through the leg is not removable for cleaning without considerable effort, you would probably damage it during the removal and have to replace it. You can however run water through it as it is clear vinyl tubing without any metal spring to rust.In the end, The Experience is more of a functional show piece that would be best used on special occasions. With that said, we do not have any in stock with is very regrettable, because as you mentioned " Christmas is Coming!" and those are very popular gift items. At this time and are in development on an updated version that is completely washable and more geared for every day use. I do not have a time frame on its completion, but hopefully Spring 06.Let me know if you have any questions. Everyone here greatly appreciates the support you have give us and welcome any feedback you have.Thank you,AliSo, it sounds like it is more of a decorative piece than anything else, but the new one they are working on sounds promising.
