i know they are the choice of colors but what exactly is the blue acid wash, and blue silver stripe? also, has anyone ordered from HC with money order before?

blue acid wash is the color, and finish to the glass base. The acid washing produces a frosted look, while the blue and silver stripes are just that, blue and silver stripes

If your stove is glass topped, i suggest you take precaution not to light the coals directly on there, as it may damage the surface

Ya my stove is flat, you cannot see the coils under it. or whatever is under it. Would it still be effective?

if its glass be careful. id buy a hotplate for coals

definitely be careful. best route would be to invest $15 in a portable, coil burner. looks like a good choice though.
