Acclimation

Recommended Posts

I generally do all my tobaccos. But I have smoked SB without acclimation.

But yes, Tangiers is a must. Otherwise it will be teh suck.

Oh also, I don't acclimate AW, but I do for AF. The golden black grape is seriously a fav of mine! Edited by Zerodynamic

I never acclimate, I tried it out and for the flavors I smoke, it doesn't seem to make a difference

You are mainly an AW smoker right???

Because then so am I and I have never acclimated AW ...might think of trying n=but if you have tried and said it makes no difference, then that saves me time....

i see, do you dry out your tobacco? i've been smoking al-fakher for years and recently a friend told me to try drying out the tobacco because (as most al-fakher users probably know) the tobacco is soaked in molasses/glycerin.. so much that he says that it might inhibit good smoking clouds because the tobacco is too wet....so he uses that metal bowl with holes in it (the one you use for letting the water out of the spaghetti) and lets the excess molasses drip out...leaving the tobacco nice and dry...allowing it to burn better and more evenly....any of you guys do something like this?

Don't acclimate AW. It'll just dry, making the taste worse.

No. Although I never had much luck with it, it's an OK tobacco. Any tips to prevent me from tossing the Orange Cream?

Don't know, like 150g. I think it's a bad batch cause no matter what I do it tastes like the orange-scented all purpose cleaner. Tried it with QLs, Rolland naturals and coconaras to no avail.
After Nine on the other hand is mouth-watering.

Don't think it would be worth it for you b/c shipping Canada>US would probably cost more than a fresh box in the US.
