Worst experience?

Let's see... My worst hookah experience is when I used to use planet
coals and light them one by one on my stove. Then one night while
having some close friends that don't know jack about hookah over for a
smoke session, one of them tipped over the hookah on my bedroom floor
sending the coals flying onto the carpet and onto my $600 Love Sac (a
furniture foam filled bean bag like sack that I use as a bed) Burning
through both, I was pissed beyond belief!

A friend of mine knocked the hookah over, burning a large hole in my carpet 

Also, does everyone here pretty much hate naklah??  I agree its not the greatest, but its ok

nothing too bad has happend to me accpet one night with "lebanese blond" this kid nick nocked over the hookah and reuined to session and vibe.....basically killed the night.

I just had my worst hookah experience last night.

I'd just finished a long and tiring evening shift, and the only thing
that got me through the day was the thought about that cloud of apple
flavoured smoke exiting my mouth.
I finished my shift, and headed straight to the hookah bar, ordered an
apple flavoured pipe and a cup of their excellent arabic coffee.
After about 20 minutes the barkeep comes up with the pipe and i start
smoking, finally feeling the hookah smoke cleaning me on the inside,
and pushing aside all the stress..
But then i realized it wasn't smoke i was feeling in my mouth, it was dirt.
The hose was so vile and unclean that chunks of filth just flew straight into my mouth.
I left the bar, and today, after reading up on this forum, decided to
never ever return, as they have cheap pipes, aniseed flavoured "apple"
tobacco (their only brand) and their expensive (18$ a pipe).
Now that i look at it.. This might have been the best experience,
seeing as it made me look into hookahs myself, and finding this forum

well, hate that you had a bad experience like that..glad it led you here though...
What you probsbly had was actually a 2 apple, all of which have an anise taste to them. Probably Nakhla, whic a lot of places serve 1) beacuse its what the owners probably smoke in whatever country they are originally from and 2) because its the cheapest to buy. If your not an anise fan, try a single apple instead.

I can't taste my hookah! I can't taste my hookah!
Well, it wasn't a bad exerience per se, but I seem to be getting a cold. I'd decided to smoke a relaxing bowl on the back deck, got everything going just right, great smoke density, coals happily doing their thing, nice al waha 2 apple and af esk apple mix in the bowl.....and I didn't taste a damn thing.
Could smell just enough to know it was working right. Guess no smoking few days..oh well...can still talk about it!
