racemyghost
So im the type of person who hates shisha that does not come in a tub(its not the shisha i hate, its the packaging). For example, nakhla, tangiers, 50gm packs, etc...Call it weird, call it OCD, i dont care. Call it whatever you want. I just finished a tub of AF and didnt want to waste the tub and came up with an idea to reuse the tub. I shaved off the AF graphics with a knife (i didnt have sandpaper) and printed my own Nakhla label (any brand, my case, it was Nahkla) and taped it on (i ran out of color ink ) Now it will be easier to pack a bowl and the shisha will stay fresher and wetter. Jeff_T
Good idea. I ususally use any type of reusable container I find around the house. Good recycling...
SupremeOstrich
Yeah I usually use food containers for Nahkla. I thought about taking the top of the box and taping it to the container, but then, colored tape works fine too Neat idea though!

MechAnt
In my experience, Nakhla doesnt really dry out cause its not exactly a juicy tobacco. I've always just kept it wrapped up in its parchment paper and it was just fine.
Sonthert
Well, if you don't like Tangiers, at least its because of the packaging. I never really got attached to fancy packaging for Tangiers because I see packaging as a personal thing, some people like just leaving it in the bag, some people like having their own matched ZipLoc containers. Its always an insight into somebody's personality by looking at how they store their tobacco. What I buy to store my stuff in is practical and functional (and cheap!) they're hard, disposable Polypropylene and they're very short and quite wide. Perhaps you've seen them masquerading as salad containers at the grocery store!
MechAnt
I have one of those! Where can I purchase a few? I've looked it up and I can only buy them in cases of 3987592875832798423

Are you suggesting that all the tobacco imported into germany only has this 5%? I find it highly dubious that Nahkla [or any other tobacco company based out of the mid east] are making specifically different Shisha tobacco for the german markets. Or am i wrong?JD

Or am i wrong?JDyes, all the officially imported tobacco in germany has a glycerin content of 5%. this product description on shisha-world has a little explanation about it: http://www.shisha-world.com/lshop,showdeta...ose,1138,,,.htmpeople in germany often use a product called "bahrain honey oil" to moisturize their tobacco, it is a mix of glycerin and honey. http://www.shisha-world.com/lshop,showdeta...dose--1138,.htm
