Stuie
I am not the reactionary, crusader type. But this morning my boss asked me to smell this tea he bought. Smelled like a Nail Salon! No way that could be safe for human consumption. He bought his at Wal-Mart. Then he found a site http://www.reddiamondteaistoxic.com/ that is like a blog of one woman and her husband's expeience witht this problem. Seeing how Red Diamond distributes not just to my town, but all of Texas and Alabama (Only places I know for sure at the moment) Check out the blog and check your tea. Just wanted everyone to know because you may drink this stuff. If you don't you should let people who do know.

Victim026
If it had smelled bad when I had it I wouldn't have had any. I mean this used to be my drink of choice for at least a year. maybe longer, but that was back in like 2004/2005
Ralleac
Eh, I remember buying some of that stuff when I went to High School in Texas, but it never smelled/tasted odd or made me sick. It's probably a recent developement, although you'd think the media would be all over it.Anyway, real men drink their tea unsweetened, and chase it with a shot of whiskey. Stinkyfisherman
Ok so I got done reading this and had to check my fridge, my girlfriend and a few of my other friends drink tea like crazy. We all normally drink Arizona tea but we picked up some red diamond a few days ago. It was only about 1/4 gone I didn’t drink any so I wanted to go smell it and sure enough it smelled like an industrial plant. I thought it was just me cuz I just got done reading this post so I had my roommate smell it and I didn’t tell him why. He told me it smelled like a nail salon. Needless to say I tossed it out. That’s sad that something that can possibly be that deadly is on the shelves and nothing is being done about it.
