Starting Phunnel

So I figure it's about time for me to get a phunnel bowl. I have never smoked out of one, and since their are so many experts, I was wondering which phunnel should I start with or just get and forget about others. Should I get a small Tangiers phunnel or go all out for the MNH Jet Glass Phunnel, or something else?

I'm no expert in this matter. But the size of the bowl depends on how many people will be smoking with you, I think you should specify this.

a medium phunnel. if its too large you can always buy a glass scalli mod, which takes up a third of the space.

personally ive just used the home made funnel mod, but i just ordered a Tangier's Small Funnel Bowl last night because its ususally me and 1-3 friends smoking. So if it gets used up its not that big of a deal to just go load another bowl

I'd go Tangiers Medium and if your only or worried about wasting the shisha buy a scalli

tangiers medium with glass mod. use the mod when you are by yourself.

I have the small phunnel right now im gonna buy the medium one and get the mod for it. I love my phunnel one of my best buys for my hookah.

same here but is the phunnel i should start my phunnel experience with? I think only a few people on the board have them.

tangy med. cheaper and yet one of the best and original.
i use mine for every session except when im smoking with 4+ then i use the large tangy phunnel.

personally i think its dumb to go spend 50 bucks on something that the user may not even like to use as mcuh as their standard. it depends. i only use a phunnel and im still hesitant to throw 50 bucks down for a glass version of what i have already.

The thing about the jet is that it is more or less a piece of art! You can clean it with some force! I have a glass smiley mod that I keep spotless with the aid of a brillo pad! And for Stuie! Go for the small phunnel and glass mod! i can get like 3 hrs out of a bowl of fantasia!

meh i smoke 5 hours off a medium ceramic phunnel. its a possibility that i may buy one when/if i ever break my medium phunnel. idk though well see. Edited April 9, 2008 by thecoalition

I usually smoke with 2 people, occasionally i get 5 or more over but now i got 3 hookahs so it's no big deal. Would you go small or medium on the tangy with 3 people smoking?

Get the small IMO. I bought 4 small ones and I just got my medium one today and its fucking huge. I have done 4-6 people on my small with a 4 hose hookah and it lasts for 2 hours so it shouldn't be a problem.

Not if you use your common sense and only put a small amount on it. I don't understand why people wrap so much foil on there bowls.

When I transfer to the University of Colorado at boulder next year, were going to have a minumum foil party.
