After I had my last surgery on my neck when I had a disk removed, I was smoking as soon as I got home the next day. My throat hurt like hell but I did not care, I kept on smokin. That was the worst recovery from a surgery I ever had. I could not talk for about a week. It took about 3 months to get my voice back completely.
