mathuv
ive had this hose for 3 or so months. its a standard egyptian leather hose and lately, ive been getting a lot of black bits in my mouth. does this mean its time for a new hose?
Scoop
yeah, if you smoke often, 3 months for a coil hose is pretty much the life of it.
Snoopy1966
Yup sounds like new hose time. You are getting rust chunks....yummy!!!
Stinkyfisherman
i think they should make a "rust" flavored shisha. lol
EternalSoil
cheaper to just use whatever shisha you have and pick up a cobra or something...
NickReppinThe909
looks like you have an excuse to justify a nammor
Alademuerte
Yeah, definitely now time to get a new hose... Even though i just bought a new Mya hose, I have 2 other Mya's.. One is from december, and the other is from november..They both are going strong besides the fact that the mouth tip from the november broke off... But a little tape and its fixed..I just typically run an air compressor through my hoses 1 or twice a week.. Sometime maybe poor a little water in it and then air compress it.But you typically wanna buy new hoses frequently if you dont take care of yours... You will learn that once you cut open your old one...

I did that with one of my old hoses and I got the same results. I was only into Hookahs for about 4 months and I was wondering wtf are these black chunks. Then my buddy told me and gave me one of his hoses and then we went to Milwaukee that weekend to get a new one.

Ceraziefish
Back when I knew nothing about hookah I would occasionally get black chunks, but here's the thing... I kept using the same damn hoses and now I never get chunks. Weird. They're cobras, so no cleaning happened.
