Humidor And Cigars

Hey guys,

Since I have picked up my new hobby I am setting aside an older one. I do still enjoy cigars but I never have anyone to enjoy them with. Also I need some extra cash right now. So I am selling my humidor and cigars as a package for $100 not including shipping.

This humidor is wonderful nice and air tight, I believe it is a diamond crown, I know it retails about 120 bucks if not more. I bought it for about 60 and it was only used for a week or so. I have now had it for about 6 months and it has worked great. There are some minor flaws but I priced the humidor at 40 bucks, so right there you are making out on it. The flaws include some scratches on the outside, a very little water stain that is so light I can almost never see it myself, and a mark where the hygrometer hung, this can be covered up with some velcro and rehanging the hygrometer.

With the humidor your getting...
4 Alex Bradley MAXX Cigars $20
Box of Petite Coronas Fire Maduros $25
2 Fire Corojos Robusto $3
2 Rocky Patel Sticks $6
Nat Sherman Churchill $3
Perdomo Robusto $3
Bottle of 50/50 Solution Free
Cigar Cutter Free
Hydrometer Free
Humidifier Free
Total = $100

I am willing to take some money off for a small Tanigers Phunnel and maybe 1 or 2, 250g tubs of shisha.

Here are some pics, any questions just PM
All in all I think I spend about 200 bucks on all of this, plus these cigars have been aging for 6 months - the one box of fire maduros.

Keeping the Helix and the CAO for yourself?

How many IT Fire are left in the box? It seems like five of them are gone.

Fire corojo is about a 2 buck stick in robusto.

What Perdomo are we talking about?

Are both of the RP sticks original edge torpedos? Local you can buy Edges for about 6 but online you can get them for 4.20 under a stick.

Nat sherman seems spot on.

Maxx Fix? Robusto? Thats what it looks like to me. I can pick up a five pack for 23 so about 4.6 a stick. Not bad.

Hygrometers can be a bit pricy. that one seems standard. I would say about 20 buck not bargain hunting (where you can snag them for under ten).

What cutter? Are we talking plastic? I assume it's not a Xikar lol.

I am sorry but considering this is not including shipping I am going to have to say this is a little over priced. Truth be told there might be about 50 dollars worth of cigars here.

That must be quite the high quality humi for the retail price of a 25 count to be 120 dollars. I need to know the brand and make of the humidor before I can really make a finaly statement. I have a beautiful burl finished 50 count and that normally retails for 100 or so. I got it for 40 because of packaging damage (luck was on my side). It's standard to pay $2/stick capacity but if ou bargain hunt a bit you should normally pay 1/stick.

Helix Has been smoked, I just keep the tube around for some small cigars to smoke in between classes. The CAO isnt mine, I was keeping it in the Humi till my roomate will be getting around to smoking it (which will have to be soon).

The Box of Fire Maduros is 20....I smoked one so its 19 total. The cheapest I have seen the boxes run is 40.00 You could search and get lucky and find them for 30.00.

I made a mistake is just a padron, robusto I believe not a predomo

Fire corojo I have found is close to 3 bucks a stick but for the both of em its just 3 bucks which isnt too bad.

One RP is an edge, i dont know about the other one, the foot is pretty badly damaged I think because of its condition is only worth 2 bucks.

The MAXX is the robusto size, I believe 5 X 60 and retails 5 bucks a stick

The cutter and hygrometer are cheapo hence the reason for not charging for them. The Humidifer is nice its a Diamond Crown, it leaks a bit when filled but after being wiped off it is fine. I believe the humi might be a diamond crown as well but I really dont know. It looks and feels quality.

BTW this isnt bargin hunting, if you can find it cheaper go for it. Im just trying to get a few bucks back on I had purchased, besides the things noted everything else is fine.

I was just joking around on the helix and the CAO

You speak the truth in reards to the fire. Damn fine deal on those. I can't even find the boxes of Petite corona online and in stock. In all seriousness you can get bundles of other sizes (no box) for pretty cheap. Close to a buck a stick.

Padron is a tasty cigar. I prefer them to perdomo any way.

I am going to talk to a friend of mine that has been in a collection mood recently and see what he feels about this. Don't reserve it or anything but I am somewhat interested.
