teq
My only thought is that it shouldn't take a Chinese company very long to reproduce for half the price.I'm not in enough situations to afford the novelty of a portable hookah, but it's a good inspiration to try to make one. jordanneff
As far as portability why not go with the hobohookah? Its like $60, so almost half the price of that and it doesnt look like a coffee pot haha
mix_tape
I've been looking at this, the hs staff told me you can't use a custom bowl in it though..

Setup up my syrian, packed some layalina peach, built a high windcover out of foil so the coals wont fall off the bowl and smoked all the way there. It was awesome. You should of seen ppls reaction on the freeway, seein all the smoke coming out of the windows....classic. Of course, friends and i would take turns holding the hookah. Snoopy1966
I bought one last night also. I hope it works out good for travel. My son will be able to help me out, it will be nice to have someone help with the heat management. Hopefully you can just put the coal in and not need to mess with it to much. Now I need to go find a good steel can also. Pics to come soon!
teq
It appears that a 33mm quicklight will probably encompass the circumference of the bowl. So, aside from having no place for the ash to go, heat management should be easy.

Smaller holes = no ash on shisha I won't lie, I often find myself far too lazy to ash my coals and I tend to just let them sit there... I never have problems with ashes inside the bowl though. Just make sure you're not using large holes and the ashes won't have any way in.My concern with this pipe is the hose. It looks like it has some sort of proprietary connector, so I hope the hose doesn't have too much restriction. Also, as for those people saying wait for the cheap knock-off... this is the cheap knock-off: http://www.hookahforum.com/index.php?showtopic=16008

This one is probably safer for car rides.

Canon
btw. there is a little space between the bowl and the hookah where the ash is suppose to fall, ive already talked to HS about it. so ash isnt a problem.
