CouchKing
It tastes like nothing. The flavor I'm smoking is Peach Iced Tea. I've been trying to get this stuff to smoke for a while now (>6 months) and now that I finally got it smoking amazingly, it doesnt taste like anything. Theres no harshness or tickle, and I even smoked 2 hours into the bowl to see if the flavor was hiding somewhere.Setup:Mya Bambino w/warm waterSmall Funnel bowl packed over the topRazan hose2 coconaras every hour.Any suggestions? I'm thinking I may just need a stronger flavor.

Webbles
I had the exact same problem with "Cool strawberry".Thick nice smoke, no harshness at all. Sadly no flavor either
shisha fan
i had the same problem, and as usual everyone said i got a bad batch. i bought mine from hookah-shisha in december.
MechAnt
Acclimation would be my answer. I acclimated it more and that worked wonders. iirc, Peach Iced Tea is not that sensitive. Blueberry is supposed to be the most sensitive.
Scoop
are you stirring it up before you mix it? all the juices in the package contain all the flavor, so stir up the tobacco with the mix.if this isn't it, im not sure. i get everything directly from eric and everything i get has great flavor. peach ice tea is great btw. mmm
CouchKing
Its been acclimated for over 13 hours in container and 30 minutes in bowl all within the same environment and I made sure to get a lot of juice as well. I'm stumped as to what it could be other than possibly a bad batch. I remember reading a while back about the barbeque tasting tangiers batches? Mine smells like it. Majid
Man what is it about this Tangiers stuff..It's very very expensive tobacco that requires a philosophers stone and 7 virgin sacrifices to even get it to smoke, without flavour! Yet people are still obsessed with making it work. Is it really that incredible when done right?
MechAnt
It doesnt really take that much effort. There is a little bit of a learning curve but when you get it working, it's unbelievable. Peach Iced Tea has a strong Peach flavor with an unmistakable black tea taste. Any Tangiers flavor is WORTH IT.It's not that expensive either 12.95 for 250 kilos. RayVer
Looks like you have the acclimation part done right...Only thing I can think of is mixing it well before placing the shisha in the bowl.
Snoopy1966
Where did you get the Peach Ice Tea from?? I got some Cinnamon that is really old and it was a pain to get it to smell right before I smoked it. If it is an older batch you may have to acclimate it for even 24 more hours. I had mine open for at least 36 hours and I have to take soem out before I want to smoke it. The stuff Canon had was great.
CouchKing
I've had it for atleast 8 months. I got it from MNHookah back then, and after trying it a few times I sorta gave up and since then it was sitting sealed airtight. Just stirred it all up so the juices are evenly spread and Im letting it acclimate all of tonight then I'm gonna smoke a new bowl of it tommorow after class (15 hours from now). MechAnt
It's highly possible that it's just gotten old. If it was in its original packaging around that time, it would be fine but if it were in your packaging, then that could be the leading cause. CouchKing
I have a 250g package of Tangiers Cocoa ordered roughly 12 months ago. Its still unopened. Do you guys think I should just acclimate that overnight instead and see what happens?
Snoopy1966
Go by smell more then time. It should be just fine. Open it up dump it into a container stir it up good and see how is smells. When you get Cocoa smell....load it up and enjoy. Mine did not take long at all. Smells like Hershey's syrup and it is a great cocoa taste. Also it is good to stir it up once in a while while it is acclimating so the juices keep getting into the shisha and gets air.
