Replacing Or Repairing A Broken Stem On An Ice Torrent?

Recommended Posts

I was a fool and accidentally broke part of the stem on my friend's single hose Ice Torrent, and I promised him I'd make it better somehow.  Specifically, the part that's broken is the top of the stem that's connected to the base of the ice chamber.

Preferably, I'd like to replace the broken part if possible.  The ice chamber / top of the stem is its own piece, so ideally I'd be able to get a replacement for that.  I talked to two local shops around where I live that sell hookahs, but they weren't especially helpful in terms of obtaining replacement parts.  Is there a way I can buy a replacement ice chamber online somewhere?  I figure this would be one of the best places on the internet to ask. wink.gif

Failing that, though, does anyone have any advice for repairing it?  I don't have any idea what sort of materials or techniques are good for repairing this sort of thing, especially given that it needs to be thoroughly waterproof and stuff will be burning near it (so I don't want to use anything potentially toxic).

I'm still fairly inexperienced in the world of hookahs, so any help anyone can offer will be greatly appreciated!

Weld it together. If not you can but ice chambers but they are attacheble to mya stems, not sure about compatability with others.
