Ways To Clean A Hookah?

Are there any special ways to clean your hookah so you dont have anything left over from your last smoke session

Running water plus other common cleaning techniques and a good scrubbing are suffice. My preferred method is a bit of beer or hard liquor. Drinking alcohol is proven to be a great deodorizer. I use it all the time and it works without fail. If you don't have access to alcohol, lemon juice and baking soda is good as well.
