ryno
So it was about 5:38am, and I'm in southern indiana and i wake up to a shaking. So I look out my window looking for a tornado, and there isnt one. I go out into my hall (live in a dorm) and everyone else is out there, and we all felt it. A few min later the fire alarms go off. arp1908 didnt even wake up until the fire alarms came on. So everyone had to go outside, and we find out it was an earthquake. An hour later we get in, and find out we were close to the epi center, and it registered a 5.2 on the Richter scale. did anyone else around here feel it?? Bulldog_916
I heard about that. 5.4...tied with the biggest recorded there. I wouldnt worry too much. I live in sunny California and earthquakes are about as common here as hurricanes are in Florida. Interesting though.

ryno
Yea, it was pretty cool, cause I've never been in one. And today about 11:15am, we had an aftershock hit when i was in class, and the teacher flipped out.
[Elmo]
Ah, I was hoping someone would start a post bout this! It happened no more than a minute after my alarm went off, so I was still in my bed. My bedit started shaking and so did all my shelfs. The only thing I could think was "Man, it's really windy outside. It's gonna be a terrible day."It seems like most people just slept through it, that or they woke up and didn't understand what was going on. Still, pretyt cool to feel and earthquake in Indiana.
