KLD
I recently ordered a blue tri-metal hookah from hookah-company, I wanted to get see what the hype was all about concerning the durability and easy pull. Today I got home and spotted a package on my porch, Woohoo! my hookah has arrived, I run inside cut it open and notice its half filled with packing nuts..ah no problem I figured they just bubble wrapped everything nicely and they ran out of packing nuts. I pull out my stem oh so gently and just shake my head. My stem was sitting on the bottom of the box surrounded by a few packing nuts without bubble wrapping. The welding broke lose on my hose socket, so it will break off if I try to attach a hose. The thing the tray goes on was completly bent. The tray itself, RUINED, almost bent in half. I pull out the base which was half ass wrapped with bubble wrap, It has hair line fractures all over it, Im afraid to set it on the table afraid its going to break. I pull out my hose which was surprisingly nice. I blow in one end of the hose while holding my finger on the other to check for leaks. I hardly have to blow and notice air comes out in 5 different places. Hey look! atleast I got my free 50gram of fusion shisha for purchasing more then 40$, The boxing was destroyed, but i didnt care atleast I had some new shisha to smoke, I pull it out of the torn up box and the bag was torn open and the shisha falls to the ground. I pull out my bag which included my tongs/grommets/mouth peices. The tongs, bent to hell, not so surprised seeing as they were made out of plain flattened aluminum. Is this a sick joke? I'm so pissed I have yet to email HC.

MechAnt
What a shame! Take pics and email HC, they will take great care of you. When I got my MZ from them, the box was bloated cause there was so many packing nuts Edited April 19, 2008 by MechAnt
billy
Is it even a KM?
Steemax
I don't think its possible for all that to happen even if the mail man threw the box against the wall a couple times here and there, what you sir described sounds like a lazy sick employee at HC that doesn't know how to pack a box if his life depended on it. I'm so pissed I have yet to email HC.I'm astonished. I've ordered from HC several times over the past year, at least 4 times were pipes. They were always over wrapped and completely protected. Don't just email. Call. And do take pictures because a claim will need to be filed against Federal Express. Is it possible the package might have come open at FedEx and they threw it back together in a hurry? It happens and they never repack anything correctly and protectively. Just throw everything back inside, add more tape, and MAYBE you get an apology sticker. If you're lucky that day.'Rani
Snoopy1966
Yeah it sounds like a FedEx error. Take lots of pics so you can show them. That really sucks to hear a KM was demolished by carelessness.

dakingkevin23
This sounds really unlikely, but maybe some idiot who had their hands on the package prior to it being on your doorstep F'ed it up? You never know...I don't think i could completely bend the Km ashtray without a tool or something.

AKammenzind
After reading that I'm still sitting here just wondering... how the hell is that possible? I could see the vase being cracked, that's not terribly unusual, and a bad weld happens now and then, but certainly that would be noticed prior to being shipped out, if it made its way out of the factory. Tongs are always cheesy, and bend like half-cooked noodles, so that's not a big surprise... but still. The only thing I could think of, like previous posters, is that it does sound like a fedex level screw-up. They're not bad all the time... but when they screw up, they REALLY screw up. waterboi
That really sucks. Sorry bro. Just take some pics and e-mail the pics to them and then give them a call. HC will take care of you. I had a few instances and they worked with me well. Calling is the fastest way to get it taking care of from my personal experience with HC. I do think it is a good idea to wait a few hours after something like this shows up on your door before calling the company or firing off an email (not saying that I've ever jumped to conclusions and blamed the wrong party for something that got screwed up or anything like that )Let us know how it turns out.Rick
Webbles
Hands down best online merchant of hookah supplies is HC. (Mn hookah a very close 2nd, and would be #1 if they werent in Minnesota. HC is in LA and i get stuff in 2 days). HC sent me a med funnel bowl when i ordered a small. Called them, sent me a small and told me to keep the medium as a "sorry". DONT email HC. call them and send them pics. Trust me they will do the right thing and send your replacement out asap.

iron molly black
It COULD be the shipper. My sister worked for DHL one summer repacking stuff that got damaged in shipment. They either taped up the remains of the box or threw what was left in a new one and sent it on it's way. The worst thing she told me about--dead cats in formaldehyde in LEAKING plastic bags--ewwww!
