Bulldog_916
Welcome to life. You dont have to pay your parents rent, so consider yourself moderately lucky. I make about 1200 a month part time. 1200 - 265 for the car - 218 for the insurance - 450 for rent - 65 for the cell - about 200 for gas = not much left for anything

Bulldog_916
I managed to save a bit when I was only paying 250 for rent. But when I got the better job the rent went up and i needed a new car. Life is a money vacuum then you die. I'm still living off what I saved.

Bulldog_916
350 bucks here would give you a box and a bed to sleep in. 650 to 700 is average here for a 1 bedroom. Ugh, California sucks sometimes.

Ugh, California sucks sometimes.Connecticut is the same. Lowest-priced one bedroom is about $650, and there aren't many of those, average is about $850. $350 MIGHT rent you a garage somewhere...lol.
