Webbles
Ive been acclimating tangiers per Rayver's Method and they still smell like BBQ sauce. Both "Cool strawberry" and "Cooling" are sitting in my bedroom with no scent change. "Juicy peach" is starting to smell better, but no luck on the other two.Any other tips to get this tobacco ready for the next stage?

JillyIsJustKidding
When smelling it, don't smell it directly. Sort of "fan" the smell of the tobacco towards you and if it smells like the flav its supposed to, it is done.
*HOT&SMOKING*
QUOTE (JillyIsJustKidding @ Apr 21 2008, 05:54 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>When smelling it, don't smell it directly. Sort of "fan" the smell of the tobacco towards you and if it smells like the flav its supposed to, it is done.IMO that is a good idea, because with most things if you smell to close and direct, the smell is usually overpowering and thus doesn't give you the right smell of how it really is.-H&S
Snoopy1966
I think it is much better to dump it into a container right away. It must be old tobacco, but have faith, it will come around. If you can manage to get it into a container and not lose and juices do that, and only open it for a few hours at a time and stir it up often. Put the lid on and leave it for a while and then stir it up again, smell and repeat if necessary. I go by smell more then time. If you are living somewhere like me now where it is getting warm in the day and cold at night you will have a bleerch of a time acclimating by leaving it out at all times.Ah I see you are in California. Go visit Eric in San Diego.
Webbles
Ill try the fanning and see if i pick up a scent.Ill also transfer the shisha back to the tuperware container and do just as you said Snoop. Even though i live in Ca, San Diego is 8 hours away. Im more of the northern california area. Although i wonder if it would be worth it to just drive down there to get acclimating/packing done the right way.
