SimplexCoda Posted April 22, 2008 Author Share Posted April 22, 2008 Ok so Im still working on the heat management with this, cause if its too little it not flavor, if its too much its good for a while then over powering. I have been smoking for about an hour on it and my first round of coals havent been used up yet but i think im gonna have to call it for a while, cause this whole tangiers buzz thing is kcikin in and im gonna have to chill for a bit. Snoopy1966 Posted April 22, 2008 Share Posted April 22, 2008 If you use the Super Chief again, make sure you pack that rim up good and solid with tobacco so you do not see the sides of the bowl. From the pics you put up, you do not have enough tobacco in it. I can see white empty spaces by the rim of the bowl and make sure you press that tobacco in there!! I guess I could use my MNH Jet Glass, It is almost the same because I do not use the Mods anymore for them and I pack up the rim in a similar fashion. I will have to wait until my video camera operator gets home from school though. I figured it out, and I do not get much juices down the stem if any at all now. It was like I had never put a coal on it. But im gonna dump it out and start the bowl over. I dont mind wasting a few bowls of it if it means learning it better. spoolinspoon Posted April 22, 2008 Share Posted April 22, 2008 I got my order yesterday as well. I ordered Blueberry, Orange Soda, Snozzberry, Cool strawberry. I took my Orange Soda out and smoked it right away. It was smoking like a champ too! I smoked for an hour and then left to to smoke today. Should be even better after aclimation. Maybe you might need a little more coal with that bowl, and you may have to take one off once in a while to balance out the heat. Use a windcover also if you have one.
