NickReppinThe909
i have tried the lock&lock containers but it seems like they are leaving a plastic-ish taste to my shisha and i am thinking of switching to ziplock freezer bags and a gladware container
austinthecity
wash them before you store shisha in them... soap/lemon juice/ etcsame as a hose, plastic will smell or taste like plastic until you wash itotherwise, these are the best containers hands down for shisha. r1v3th3ad
or you could make a clay box and use grommets for a good seal
NickReppinThe909
i washed them with vinegar and lime juice (i didnt want to go buy lemon juice) several times and i still get a plastic flavor that i never get with ziplocs
erufiku
I'm using the ziplock containers and they leave no taste. Downside is that they're not airtight, so I have to use some foil as a grommet.

ilikemyusername
i have been using those "ball" canning, homemade jelly type jars with the 2 piece lids for a few years now, i love them. totally air tight, and they dont end up flavor stained... because theyre glass. my favorite one had cherries and strawberries, oranges and grapes, and some other fruits, i use it for my staple shisha... RANDOM FRUIT FLAVOR MIX! its the bomb
AmunRa
I store mine in the plastic Glad jars that have screw-on lids. They seem to work well as i have never had a plastic tastes from them. I toss them in the dishwasher before I use them, and it works well. The do tend to keep the flavor/smell of the tobacco you put in them though, so you may want to use one container for the same flavor all the time or just pitch it and get a new one.
