A Question About My Purge

Ok so I have an MZ hookah as you might all know. Recently when i purge it, water comes outta the purge, gets all over the bottom of the stem and on my base. its not like alot of water more of a mist. but after a whole session quite a bit has come out. its very sticky .. i dont know why but im guessing it has to do with all the filtering the water is doing. Also my water recently has been getting very very dark and nasty... hasnt happened before. i know this is normal though. Let me know whats happening with my purge valve and if theres anyway to stop this.

you also have juices dripping into the water to color it. (possibly chunks of tobacco too).

If you've got water coming out of the purge valve, then one of two things is happening. Either you have too much water, or you are blowing too hard to purge the chamber, or a combination of both. You don't want to blow too hard to purge it because you can blow tobacco up against the foil and it will burn.

Yup, that's about it. Also, if you really blow too hard you can blow water up into your tobacco, and that'll really screw your session up!

The bottom of your stem should not be deeper than 1" (into the water). And to purge, gently blow into the hose and as you see smoke coming out of the purge valve, blow a bit harder till the base is clear.

it seems like everyone said you are purging to hard, thus water is reaching the tobbaco washing off all the juices and what not off the tobbaco and bringing it down into the vase thus the nasty colored water, with the stickiness coming out of the vase with the combination of too much water in the vase.
