OC4111 Posted April 22, 2008 Share Posted April 22, 2008 Well, Ive been hearing everybody on here write about so I figured I would take the group. I'm still new to hookah but I figured no time like the present. I placed an order over the phone with DPG yesterday and I ordered the medium tangiers phunnell, a scalli mod, and 250g Tangiers Melon Blend. I was wanting the phunnell bowl just because I don't like shisha juice either coloring the water in the base or dripping into my tray. I would never use the mod with Tangiers because its heat sensitive. A noob rule with Tangiers is, the more shisha the better and smoother the smoke. Snoopy1966 Posted April 23, 2008 Share Posted April 23, 2008 You will find you need much less heat with Tangiers then other brands of Tobacco. You may have to tweak it for your own personal set up. OC4111 Posted April 29, 2008 Author Share Posted April 29, 2008 I just picked up my order from DPG from the post office this morning. SOOO excited. I was sent the wrong flavor of tangiers though. I ordered melon blend but was sent mixed fruit. Considering that Neal's been going through, I'm not gonna complain. I alos got my Tangiers phunnell, i didn't realize how big that thing is, a scalli mod, and some exoticas. I'm making the jump to naturals. Also got the fotm's. can't wait to try them out. I called them to place my order because I wanted to order a scalli mod which isn't listed on the website. Otherwise you can check out Hookah Company.
