NUBBS
I have heard about this I forget where but I did. If you have some foil left over from making your square sheet you can use it to make little foil balls and put them in the bowl for better heat distribution. Has anyone else heard of this? racemyghost
uhhh....kind of sounds like something someone would do after doing this a couple times ----->

leadpipecinch21
i can see how it'd work, but i think it'd be pretty pointless
thecoalition
point taken but proper coal placement does the same thing.
Seanij
I'll give it a shot, might be good for when you only have one coal left.
Tanel
Its probably used as a tobaco substitute, so you can put less of it in and still have a full bowl.
r1v3th3ad
doesn't sound any good to me...guessin it helps heat the bowl?
mackiain
Sounds like an interesting experiment to me, but probably not necessary in any case.
NUBBS
Well I found that with a bunch of recipes, but I thought I would share it and get some feedback.
teq
It does work to distribute the heat, because aluminum has better thermal conductivity and retention than shisha, but the coals provide enough heat.If you're trying to use less coals, lining the bottom of your bowl with foil and using a wind cover works well. Stuie
Might have to try just for the heck of it.
