heebo
Zune on Linux sounds tough to get going. What distribution do you use? I know Ubuntu has a great community for support.
Snoopy1966
You could try Wine for Linux. It is hard to get any Windowns progrmas going on my Linux machine. I just avoid them and use my other compy for Windoze junk. Ubuntu is a great OS, maybe they can help you there on their forums. It is another great community. mjdx88
Try cross over.....costs a bit but is coded by pretty much the same guys who did wine. Now there are ways around paying for cross over but Im not suggestion to do anything illegal . This is the cheap way of doing it. Dont Forget Dual boot, just make a 4 gig partition Costly way of doing it. Buy a mac, install VMwares Fusion, Install windows and Linux and there you go best of both worlds. My way of doing it. Give up and run windows.(The way I used to do it before I switched to Mac.) I have tired both programs on Linux and failed...this was also running Redhat 9 on 550mhz Intel with 128mb of ram and Wine was hot shit, cuz it just came out within a few months of me trying it.Goodluck, hope this helps a bit....Also if you need to be using windows media player. I couldnt get it to install on both Crossover and Wine for OSX it needs some .dll somewhere on the HD along with at least WMP 9 installed. WMP 9 doesnt install right either...since it needs something that winows OS has somewhere. I couldnt find these files. If you know what these files are please let me know that would help out a lot since I hate running Windows on my mac. Everytime I run it, I die a little bit inside.Mike Edited April 25, 2008 by mjdx88
